Niamh joined the IMPACT Research Centre as an Assistant Psychologist in the Forensic Managed Care Network in June 2023.

She currently contributes to a number of projects primarily focused on intimate partner violence (IPV) and coercive control. Her other research interests include personality disorders, specifically Cluster B personality disorders, such as Borderline/Emotionally Unstable personality disorder (BPD/EUPD), and addictions.
